Overview
Established in 2018 by landowners and farmers in Saskatchewan, this award supports graduate students conducting agricultural-related research that contributes to innovation and sustainability in grain commodities.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to international and domestic students
Must be a full-time graduate student at the University of Regina
Minimum CGPA of 80%
Must be conducting agriculture-related research in one of the following areas:
- Agricultural inputs and soil amendments for grain commodities
- Resource management in grain commodity production
- Climate change adaptation and its impact on grain commodities
- Policy and regulation for sustainable grain development
Students may only receive this award once during their academic career
Required Documents
- One-page statement clearly aligning your research with the eligible areas
- Up-to-date transcript showing current semester registration (Unofficial from UR Self Service or Official from MyCreds)
- Entrance students without U of R grades must also include:
- Transcript from the last institution
- Grading key (combine with transcript into one document for upload)
