Call for Ideas: Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance – 2026.

Overview:
The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance is seeking innovative climate finance solutions to drive private investments in emerging markets. The Lab will select 8 ideas in 2026, with some eligible for grant funding up to USD 250,000 through its Pre-Seed Capital Facility.

Focus Areas by Region:

• Africa: Mitigation; Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems

• Asia-Pacific: Mitigation

• Brazil: Adaptation/Mitigation

• India: Adaptation/Mitigation

• Latin America & Caribbean: Adaptation; Mitigation

• Philippines: Adaptation

Who Should Apply:

• Innovators developing finance vehicles that unlock private investment for climate action

• Solutions addressing region-specific climate and financial challenges

Application Process:

1. Phase 1 – Preliminary Applications: Submit on the Lab website by Nov 9, 2025.

2. Phase 2 – Full Applications: Shortlisted applicants will be invited in early December to submit full proposals.
