The GREAT Scholarships programme offers eligible students from Ghana £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year taught postgraduate courses in the 2025-26 academic year at selected UK universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be a citizen and resident of Ghana

Hold an undergraduate degree and demonstrate motivation and interest in the chosen subject area

Meet the English language requirements of the host UK institution

Commit to engaging as a scholar through academic and cultural activities

Attend a networking event for GREAT scholars to share experiences
-
Maintain contact with the British Council and the host institution as an ambassador for the scholarship

Agree to speak to potential future applicants about their own study-abroad experiences
