The Royal Society Wolfson Visiting Fellowships provide international research leaders with the opportunity to undertake a flexible 12-month sabbatical in a UK university or research institution. These fellowships aim to foster international collaboration and enrich scientific research within the host organisation and the broader UK science base.

What the Fellowship Offers:

Bursary: Up to £80,000 per year (full-time) for the visiting fellow.

Research Expenses: Covers consumables, travel, small equipment (up to £10,000), visa and fieldwork costs.

Relocation Support: Covers relocation and visa expenses for fellows and their dependents.

Flexibility: Fellowships can accommodate part-time work, sabbaticals, secondments, and leave (e.g., parental, extended sick leave). Additional childcare support is available for conferences and research visits.
