The 2025 UNIDROIT Essay Competition, supported by the International Law Institute (ILI) and facilitated by the UNIDROIT Foundation, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the UNIDROIT/FAO/IFAD Legal Guide on Contract Farming.

Participants are encouraged to explore:
✅ The Legal Guide’s impact on agricultural practices and rural development
✅ Its role in promoting sustainable agriculture
✅ Its contribution to food security in a changing global environment
