Program Overview
Founded in 2000 with the support of UC Berkeley alumni Carolyn and Richard Beahrs, the Beahrs ELP is an interdisciplinary certificate program designed for mid-career professionals in the environmental and agricultural sectors. The program blends theory, practical case studies, and leadership training to strengthen participants’ abilities to design and implement sustainable, climate-resilient, and community-driven solutions.
