The African Union Commission, funded by the World Bank, is inviting consortia of African think tanks to apply for funding under the Africa Think Tank Platform (ATTP). The platform aims to strengthen Africa’s capacity for effective policy research and evidence-based policymaking on continental priorities, including food security, climate change, trade integration, and human capital development.
Selected think tank consortia will:

Conduct high-quality research on food security and agrifood systems in Africa

Engage in regional policy dialogue to influence sustainable food policies

Strengthen institutional capacity and promote gender-inclusive policy research
Eligibility
-
Applications must be submitted by a consortium of 3 to 5 African think tanks, with one lead applicant

All think tanks must be legally registered and based in continental Africa
-
Consortia must demonstrate prior or ongoing experience in at least four of the six ATTP priority themes, including food security
