Applications are open for the Anzisha Prize 2026, Africa’s flagship award for young entrepreneurs aged 15–22. The program distributes over USD $140,000 annually in business support and prize money and offers the Anzisha Venture Building Fellowship — a two-year program that combines mentorship, training, and financial support to help very young entrepreneurs scale their ventures and create jobs.

About

The Anzisha Prize supports early-stage entrepreneurs who have already launched income-generating ventures. Fellows receive tailored capacity building, access to digital tools, mentorship, and cash stipends. At the end of the fellowship, participants compete for grand prizes (totaling around $40,000) across categories such as Job Creation, Revenue Growth, Storytelling, and Systems & Processes. Successful applicants join the Anzisha alumni network and gain ongoing access to learning and ecosystem support.

Eligibility

  • Age 15–22 (born between 1 September 2003 and 31 August 2010).

  • National of an African country with a business based in Africa serving African customers/beneficiaries.

  • Business must be already operating (this is not for ideas or plans).

  • Applicant must be a founding member of the venture.

  • Ventures in any sector — including agribusiness — are eligible.
