 About the MEDfOR Programme

The MEDfOR Programme brings together top universities and experts across Europe to train professionals in managing Mediterranean forests and natural resources sustainably. The program combines environmental science, forest ecology, policy, and socio-economic approaches to address pressing challenges like deforestation, land degradation, and climate change.

🌍 Who Can Apply

The program is open to candidates worldwide who meet the following criteria:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Have a minimum English proficiency level of B1 (CEFR).

Applications are welcomed from students and professionals in fields such as forestry, agriculture, environmental management, natural sciences, geography, and related disciplines.

🧾 Application Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  • Completed online application form

  • Passport copy and proof of residence

  • Certified copies and English translations of degree certificate and academic transcript

  • English proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, or equivalent)

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • Motivation letter detailing academic background, career goals, and interest in the MEDfOR programme

  • Two signed and headed recommendation letters (at least one from an academic referee)
