Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship 2026 – For Young Leaders Tackling Climate Change

Overview

The Audi Environmental Foundation, in collaboration with One Young World, is offering scholarships to 10 inspiring young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa (3–6 November).

Established in 2009 as a subsidiary of AUDI AG, the Foundation supports research into new technologies and scientific methods for a liveable future. Its mission is to promote environmentally compatible technologies, strengthen environmental education, and protect the natural necessities of life for humans, animals, and plants.

Focus Areas

The scholarship is intended for young leaders driving change by tackling the climate crisis. Relevant work may include:

• Using innovative technologies to reduce pollution and combat climate issues.
• Promoting climate education and accessibility to raise awareness.
• Advocating for climate equity and justice.
• Empowering vulnerable communities to build resilience against climate impacts.
• Protecting ecosystems by halting land degradation or revitalising marine environments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 18–30 (applications from those older than 30 may be considered if impact is demonstrated).
• Nationality: Open globally.
• Participation: Must be able to attend the One Young World Summit in person.
• Leadership: Demonstrated capacity for leadership and understanding of local/global issues.
• Impact: Proven track record of generating innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
