Agri-tech and agro-based startups across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East are encouraged to apply. If your innovation improves food security, strengthens farmer livelihoods, promotes sustainable farming practices, or creates positive environmental and social change, this programme is designed for you.
Selection Criteria
You’re a good fit if:

You are a for-profit or non-profit social enterprise

You’re in the pre-seed or seed stage

You have an existing product/service with revenue

Your business is legally established in Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Middle East

You demonstrate clear potential for financial returns and social/environmental impact
BfE looks for startups with:

Innovative solutions addressing key development challenges

Proven results (minimum 6 months operation and revenue generation)

Positive community impact (social, environmental, or agricultural)

Committed leadership ready to scale impact
Programme Timeline

Each advisory engagement: 3–4 months

Entire programme completion: 6–8 months
