Build Your AgriCanvas — Cashew Edition (e-MOVE)

  • Grants
  • Anywhere

Turn your cashew agribusiness idea into an investment-ready, climate-smart venture. The e-MOVE / Agribusiness e-Academy call invited young and emerging agripreneurs in the cashew value chain to submit AgriCanvas business models (using the Business Model Canvas template) for a chance to win kickstart support and mentoring.

Who this is for

  • Young and emerging agripreneurs (18+) based in an OACPS member state.

  • Working in the cashew value chain (production, processing, value-addition, by-products, market linkages).

  • Ready to apply climate-smart, inclusive (women & youth) and commercially viable approaches.

What winners receive

  • €2,000 direct funding (kickstart prize)

  • A laptop, tablet, or software package

  • Expert mentoring, training and incubation support

  • Connections to financial institutions to help scale

How to enter (summary)

  1. Register on atingi or the e-MOVE landing page.

  2. Complete the mandatory e-MOVE courses (about 7 hours total):

    • Introduction to Conservation Agriculture

    • Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness (unlocks after course 1)

  3. Build your AgriCanvas using the Business Model Canvas template in the final course.

  4. Submit your AgriCanvas and the certificate ID from Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness via the official submission form (KoboToolbox). Submissions without a valid certificate ID are not accepted.

Tip: The submission form lets you save drafts — use this to polish your AgriCanvas, and be sure to explain the climate-smart element, revenue model, and estimated capital needed.

Important dates (submission windows)

  • Window 1 (Closed): 15 Sep – 7 Nov 2025

  • Window 2: 1 Feb – 30 Apr 2026

  • Window 3: 1 Jun – 31 Aug 2026
Winners are expected to be notified towards the end of December following each round.

Additional opportunities linked to the call

  • Matching Grant Fund (MGF): larger financing for consortia and private-sector projects in cashew (GIZ / ABF). MGF offers €40,000–€100,000 (up to €200,000 multi-country) with co-funding rules — separate concept note & application processes.

  • Cashew Research Grant: funds public research projects (up to ~€125,000) focused on sustainability, climate resilience, value-addition and South–South collaboration.

If you plan to scale beyond the kickstart prize, consider whether your project qualifies for the MGF or research grant and prepare consortium partners and required documents early.
