The Yale Jackson School’s International Leadership Center invites mid-career professionals from the Global South to apply for the 2026 Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship. Now in its second decade, this highly competitive program brings together diverse talents committed to advancing clean energy and climate action.

Fellowship Overview
• Ten-week hybrid program (five remote learning journeys and two in-person modules)
• Yale Orientation Week, New Haven: 16–20 February 2026 (all costs covered)
• Paris Closing Week: 15–19 June 2026 (all costs covered)
• Collaborative group project between March and June 2026

Who Should Apply
• Professionals with 5–10 years of experience and demonstrated regional, national or international achievements
• Representatives of the Global South (Africa, Asia, Middle East, Latin America/Caribbean)
• Fluent English speakers able to fully engage in all program components
• Leaders from government, private sector, civil society, academia, media or finance with a proven record in clean energy or climate-related fields

Selection Criteria
• Established achievement in a clean-energy or climate-change profession
• Commitment to positive impact at local, national or international levels
• Potential for future leadership and a desire to expand global networks

Application Requirements
• Résumé/CV (max 3 pages)
• Personal statement outlining your vision and impact goals (max 600 words)
• Brief video statement describing your climate-action focus
• One letter of recommendation
