The Pollination Project offers daily seed grants of up to USD 1,000 to individuals and small teams around the world who are driving grassroots change. If you are working to advance sustainable agriculture, food security, permaculture education, or community‐based farming initiatives, GAAP provides rapid, no‐strings‐attached funding to turn your ideas into impact.
Who Should Apply
Applicants can be individuals or teams of up to three people, aged 18 or over, undertaking a project that benefits people, animals, or the planet. The programme is open to all nationalities. Projects related to agriculture might include urban gardening, regenerative farming workshops, seed-saving networks, sustainable food distribution, or agroecology training for marginalized communities.
Grant Details
• Award amount: up to USD 1,000 per project
• No matching funds required; grants are one-time, unrestricted awards
• Funds may cover materials, outreach, travel, stipends, or other project-related costs
• Approximately two grants awarded every day
How to Apply
• Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed in real time
• Complete the online form in English, describing your project’s goals, community impact, and budget (you will need to register for a free account)
• Decisions are communicated within 2–4 weeks of submission
• Successful applicants receive funds via bank transfer, PayPal, or other digital payment methods
Key Considerations for Agriculture Projects
• Demonstrate a clear plan for how the grant will catalyse sustainable food systems or agricultural skills in your community
• Highlight collaboration with local farmers, cooperatives, schools, or NGOs to ensure lasting impact
• Include measurable outcomes—such as number of participants trained, gardens established, or pounds of food produced
This opportunity is ideal for emerging agripreneurs, community organisers, extension workers, urban farmers, and educators seeking rapid support to launch or scale agricultural initiatives that nourish people and regenerate ecosystems.
