Is your project making a positive impact on school canteens and child nutrition internationally? The Bel Foundation invites you to submit your project for a chance to receive financial support to improve the sustainability and effectiveness of school meal programs. Each year, around 20 impactful projects are supported globally.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, make sure your organization:

Is not-for-profit and of general interest (in the fiscal sense)

Has a French partner or a recommendation from a French Foundation (for non-French applicants)

Offers a measurable and sustainable solution for improving children’s school meals
-
Requests funding for projects, not for running costs
-
Operates in any country (priority may be given to countries where the Bel Group is present)
2025 Focus Areas
This year, the Foundation is especially interested in projects addressing:

Sustainable food supply: school gardens, collaborations with cooperatives, etc.

Nutrition: safe and diverse school meals

Community management: active community roles in school canteen operations
-
Food education: teaching children healthy eating habits
Timeline

April 2 – June 30, 2025: Online applications open

July – September 2025: Project Selection Committee review

October 28, 2025: Final decision by the Board

November 2025 – November 2026: Project implementation and monitoring
