The CS4RRA Initiative, launched in 2023 by European and West African institutions, is now accepting proposals for collaborative research projects that build climate resilience in West Africa through knowledge, innovation, and capacity building.

๐น Funding Available: Up to โฌ2,000,000 per project
๐น Project Duration: Max. 36 months
๐น Focus Areas: Climate data, adaptation tools, innovation for agriculture, disaster risk reduction, and related services
Eligibility Criteria:

Project consortia must include at least three eligible partners:
โ At least two African institutions from two different countries
โ At least one European institution -
African leadership must be reflected in both the project consortium and proposal

Eligible West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo

Organizations from GFP (Group of Funding Parties) countries are eligible
