Competition Overview
The Small Business Champions 2025 competition, organized by the World Trade Organization (WTO), International Trade Centre (ITC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), seeks innovative ideas that help small businesses participate in and contribute to the circular economy.
📍 Award Ceremony: June 26, 2025 (Geneva, Switzerland)
💰 Prize: $4,000 + Training & Mentorship Opportunities
Who can apply?
✅ Small businesses implementing or scaling sustainable innovations
✅ NGOs supporting small businesses in sustainability
✅ Industry associations and chambers of commerce
Eligible Proposals
📌 Initiatives related to the circular economy, including:
✔ Awareness-raising campaigns, competitions, training, and networking programs
✔ Innovative business concepts that reduce, prevent, or repurpose waste
✔ Clear link to international trade with an action plan
Award Details
🏆 Winners receive:
✅ $4,000 prize from ITC to develop or scale their project
✅ Travel to Geneva for the award ceremony on June 26, 2025 (sponsored by ICC & ITC)
