Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) – DAAD at Freie Universität Berlin

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers the EPOS scholarships to support specialists from development and newly industrialised countries in pursuing postgraduate and, in exceptional cases, doctoral degrees at German universities. What EPOS Offers

• Funding for Master’s and, in select cases, PhD programmes at state or state-recognised German universities

• Duration of support from 12 up to 42 months, depending on the chosen course

• Monthly stipends: €992 for Master’s graduates; €1,300 for doctoral candidates

• Coverage of health, accident, and personal liability insurance

• Travel allowance (unless provided by another source)

Who Can Apply?

• Graduates with a first university degree (typically four years) in any discipline

• At least two years of professional experience in a development-related field

• Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to contributing to social and economic development in their home country
