Go Volunteer Africa’s Eswatini Farm Work Volunteer Project offers participants a chance to engage in farming activities while immersing themselves in the culture of Eswatini. Volunteers will assist with daily tasks such as feeding animals, cleaning stables, and working in the garden. The project allows for creativity, with the possibility of developing educational programs or creating promotional materials on agriculture in Eswatini.

Location:

  • Piggs Peak, Eswatini, located 70 km from Mbabane and 40 km from the South African border.

  • The area is known for its gold prospecting history, scenic craft centers, and nature reserves.

Accommodation:

  • Basic but comfortable volunteer housing surrounded by the countryside.

  • Shared bathrooms and access to a kitchen.

  • Volunteers may travel on weekends, so a sleeping mat and pillow are recommended.

Requirements:

  • Open to individuals 16+ years of age.

  • No prior experience needed, just a willingness to learn and contribute.

  • Flexible and self-motivated attitude required.

Program Costs:

  • 2 Weeks: $490

  • 3 Weeks: $590 (most popular)

  • Additional Weeks: $100 per week

  • Includes accommodation, meals, airport pickup, project orientation, and in-country support.

Visa Information:

  • Visa on arrival for most countries, valid passport required for at least 6 months.

Volunteer Role:

  • Volunteers assist with farming, cooking, arts and crafts, and skill development projects.
