To mark its 80th anniversary, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations is recognizing outstanding best practices and innovative approaches in sustainable plant production and protection from the past 40 years. This global call for nominations is open to institutions and stakeholders who have contributed meaningfully to plant-based food systems.
Recognition Categories
FAO will honor exemplary work in the following domains:

Crop Germplasm Management: Conservation and distribution of plant genetic resources.

Crop Variety Improvement: Development and adoption of improved crop types for food, feed, fiber, oil, and more.
