The FINCA Ventures Prize Competition is a “shark tank” style event that aims to support rising African entrepreneurs who are using technology and disruptive business models to make a significant difference. The competition brings together early-stage companies, investors, donors, and visionary leaders passionate about entrepreneurship.
Competition Details:
- Focus Areas: The 2025 competition will focus on climate-smart agriculture and fintech in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Event Location: San Francisco, California.
- September 15: Finalists pitch their ideas to a panel of judges at the Center for Social Innovation, Stanford Graduate School of Business.
- September 16: Awards ceremony and reception at The Battery.
