The HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator, powered by gener8tor, invests up to USD 100,000 in ten high-growth startups each year (two cohorts of five) that are at the forefront of agricultural innovation. Leveraging HudsonAlpha’s expertise in agricultural genomics, plant breeding and crop diversity together with gener8tor’s national mentor and investor network, the program supports solutions for sustainably feeding and powering a growing planet.
Program Highlights
• Investment: USD 50,000 for 5% common equity (required) plus an optional USD 50,000 convertible note—USD 100,000 total initial funding per startup
• Cohort Structure: Twelve-week program with weekly sessions on market sizing, revenue models, investor pitching and more
• Perks & Deals: Over USD 1 million in software and service credits from partners such as IBM Cloud, Amazon, HubSpot and Microsoft
• Mentorship & Coaching: Bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with gener8tor staff, plus access to 100+ serial entrepreneurs, industry experts and investors
• Office Space & Ecosystem: Workspace on HudsonAlpha’s 152-acre biotech campus, with opportunities to collaborate with HudsonAlpha scientists
