Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG)

The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) program provides education grants to self-identifying women aged 25 and older from eligible developing countries. The grants support students pursuing higher education in the US-Canada, South Africa, and Trinity Washington University programs. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited institution and plan to graduate within three years of receiving the grant. The US-Canada and Trinity Washington University programs accept applications from September 15 to January 15, while the South Africa program runs from May 15 to September 14. Successful candidates are notified in April (US-Canada and Trinity) or December (South Africa). Awardees are expected to contribute to improving the lives of women and children in developing countries after completing their studies. Deadlines vary by programs.
