Scholarship and Resources

• Annual stipend of €16,243 (subject to regulatory updates)

• Dedicated research budget equivalent to at least 10 % of the annual stipend, beginning in Year 1

• Mobility top-up of 50 % of the stipend for research stays abroad (up to 12 months, or up to 18 months for joint-degree programmes)

Who Can Apply?

• Candidates who hold, or will hold by 31 October 2025, a Master’s degree or equivalent recognized by the selection committee

• Applicants must meet any additional, programme-specific entry requirements

• For positions reserved for externally funded candidates, proof of scholarship award or ongoing application for external funding is required by the deadline

2. Complete the online application form, selecting up to three doctoral programmes in order of preference.

3. Upload required documents, including degree certificates, academic transcripts, curriculum vitae, and any programme-specific endorsements.

4. Pay a non-refundable application fee of €25 per chosen programme.

5. Submit and confirm your application before the closing date.

Selection Process

A single merit-based ranking list will be produced, incorporating any additional positions announced in later updates. Successful candidates will be notified following evaluation of qualifications, academic merit, and research project suitability.
