The University of Sydney offers a suite of fully-funded stipends and fee-offset scholarships to support both domestic and international Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students.

  • Must be commencing or enrolled in an HDR (PhD or MPhil) at USyd

  • Outstanding academic record & research experience

 How to Apply

  1. Commencing students:

    • Apply for admission to your HDR program via Sydney Courses by the relevant deadline.

    • Submit the RTP scholarship application form by the same deadline.

  2. Currently enrolled students:

    • Ensure you remain enrolled in an HDR.

    • Submit the RTP scholarship application form by the deadline above.

  3. Attach required documents as specified in the application form and upload via the Scholarships portal.
