Are you a young professional passionate about global trade, agricultural development, or international cooperation?
The World Trade Organization (WTO) is calling for applicants from developing and least-developed countries to join the 2026 edition of its Young Professionals Programme (YPP).

About the Programme

  • Duration: One-year professional placement at the WTO Secretariat in Geneva

  • Start Date: January 2026

  • Focus: Trade-related issues, including agriculture, environment, market access, trade facilitation, and more

  • Target Group: Early-career professionals from developing or least-developed WTO member countries under-represented at the WTO

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a national of a developing or least-developed WTO member

  • Be 32 years old or younger on 1 January 2026

  • Hold an advanced university degree in economics, law, political science, international relations, or a related field

  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong interest in international trade and WTO-related issues

Application Deadline: 22 April 2025
