Overview
The Youth4Climate Call for Solutions 2026 is now open, marking its fourth round of funding and learning opportunities. This global innovation challenge supports youth and youth‑led organizations across 158 countries and territories, offering seed funding and capacity‑building for climate action projects.
Since 2023, Youth4Climate has allocated USD 4 million to 150 youth‑led projects in 59 countries. In 2026, applicants can request up to USD 30,000 in seed funding and benefit from mentorship, webinars, bootcamps, and curated learning resources.
Agricultural Focus – Food & Agriculture Thematic
Among the six thematic areas, Food & Agriculture is especially relevant for young innovators in farming and agribusiness. Eligible projects may include:
- Boosting agricultural productivity through climate‑smart practices and innovative technologies.
- Strengthening sustainable food systems from production to storage and distribution.
- Reducing hunger and malnutrition by empowering rural communities and smallholder farmers.
- Scaling youth‑led agribusiness ventures that create jobs and improve rural livelihoods.
This thematic area provides a platform for youth to design and implement agricultural solutions that directly address food insecurity while building resilience against climate change.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals: Youth aged 18–29.
- Organizations: Youth‑led NGOs, CSOs, CBOs, or companies with majority leadership aged 18–29.
- Project Lead: Must be a national of one of the eligible countries listed in the Call Guidelines.
- Languages Accepted: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese.
- Implementation Period: Maximum of 24 months.
Application Process
- Prepare: Review the Guidelines, Budget, and Workplan templates.
- Apply: Submit your application via the official Application Portal, including all required documents and a short video.
- Deadline: Applications close 30 April 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Youth4Climate offers tailored learning opportunities to strengthen applications, including:
