Since 2008, the Zayed Sustainability Prize has been empowering global changemakers by recognizing innovative sustainability solutions and amplifying their transformative impact. With an expanded prize fund of US $7.2 million, the Prize supports enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and schools delivering scalable solutions in Health, Food, Energy, Water, Climate Action, and Global High Schools.

Over the years, the Prize has positively impacted more than 400 million people worldwide, expanding access to clean energy, safe drinking water, nutritious food, affordable healthcare, and climate resilience.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and schools worldwide.
  • Applicants must demonstrate innovative, impactful, and scalable solutions in one of the six categories.
  • Submissions must clearly show measurable benefits to communities, particularly underserved populations.
  • Projects should align with sustainability goals and demonstrate long-term viability.
  • Schools applying under the Global High Schools category must propose student-led projects that directly benefit their communities.
