Overview
The AfNet Flexible Grant is designed to support initiatives led by women leaders and organizations dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. The grant provides up to $5,000 to empower women through leadership, advocacy, and sustainable development.
Who Can Apply
Applications are welcome from:
- Nonprofit organizations
- Grassroots organizations
- Community‑based organizations
- Individual women leaders
- Social enterprises
Focus Areas
Projects should align with AfNet’s mission of empowering women leaders globally, with emphasis on:
- Leadership development
- Advocacy and community empowerment
- Sustainable development initiatives
AfNet Mini Grants
In addition to the Flexible Grant, AfNet awards annual mini grants each December:
- Amount: $100 – $300
- Purpose: Support small, women‑led initiatives that create real and lasting community impact
- Deadline: December 15, 2025
- Location: Open to all regions

- Beatrice Antwiwaa (Ghana, 2024): Created a festive, inclusive celebration for children through Merry Little Party with DWoSO.

- Hawa Sana (Liberia, 2023): Brought joy to 37 children at James Davies Medical Center through Ailing Kids Charity.
