The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) invites submissions for the 2026 Edition of the APNI Photo Contest. This annual competition celebrates powerful visual storytelling that highlights the role of plant nutrition, soil health, and sustainable farming practices in building a resilient and food‑secure Africa.

Contest Theme

Photos should capture impactful moments across Africa’s agricultural landscapes, focusing on:

  • Soil health and nutrient management
  • Sustainable farming techniques
  • Farmer innovation and community resilience
  • Climate‑smart agriculture solutions
  • Youth and women in agriculture

Prizes

  • Winner: USD $1,500
  • Finalists: USD $500 each
  • Winning photos will be showcased on APNI’s website, publications, and international platforms.

Eligibility

  • Open to professional and amateur photographers worldwide.
  • Submissions must highlight agricultural practices or innovations relevant to Africa.
  • Each participant may submit up to three photos.

Submission Guidelines

  • Photos must be original, high‑resolution, and accompanied by a short description.
  • Entries should include location, subject, and context.
  • Submit via the APNI online portal before the deadline.
