The Conservation, Food & Health Foundation (CFH) supports projects that protect natural resources, improve food security, strengthen agriculture, and promote public health in low‑ and middle‑income countries. The Foundation’s grant program is designed to build local capacity and encourage innovative approaches to pressing global challenges.
About the Foundation
CFH provides grants to organizations worldwide, including Ghana, working in:
- Conservation – protecting ecosystems and biodiversity.
- Food security – ensuring communities have access to nutritious food.
- Agriculture – supporting farmer resilience, sustainable practices, and innovation in food systems.
- Health – strengthening public health initiatives and community well-being.
Application Process
CFH uses a two‑phase online application system:
- Concept Application (Letter of Inquiry – LOI): Short proposal submitted online.
- Full Proposal: Invited from a limited number of applicants after LOI review.
Applicants must submit their concept applications during one of two annual cycles:
- Cycle 1:
- Opens: October 15
- Deadline: December 22
- Proposal invitations: January 15
- Full proposal deadline: February 15
- Grant awards: July 1
- Cycle 2:
- Opens: May 1
- Deadline: June 15
- Proposal invitations: July 15
- Full proposal deadline: August 15
- Grant awards: December 1

- Sign in with an existing account or create a new one.
- For non‑U.S. organizations (including Ghanaian NGOs/CSOs), enter 12‑1234567 as the Tax ID when registering.
- Use the access code: CFHgrants to begin your application.
- Submit only one application per review cycle.
