Overview
The Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) is Indonesia’s largest climate innovations tech competition, first launched in 2023. CIIC provides a platform for innovators to showcase sustainable solutions addressing ecological challenges and mitigating climate change impacts.
In 2026, CIIC will host teams competing across three tracks, with a total prize pool of Rp15 billion to pilot solutions in Indonesia. A special prize will also be awarded to outstanding carbon projects, including pre‑purchase carbon credits worth up to US$1 million.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Develop a pilot with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and roadmap for commercialization.
- Present an original and innovative proposal relevant to the climate tech landscape.
- Address key challenges in at least one of the three tracks.
- Demonstrate feasibility for large‑scale adoption.
- Show potential for a commercially sustainable business model targeting a large market.
