Through the Crop-Animal Systems Research Request for Applications (RFA), FFAR is offering up to $4 million in total funding, with individual awards ranging from $300,000 to $1 million, contingent on matching contributions from non-federal sources.
Purpose of the Grant
This RFA aims to simultaneously advance crop and animal systems by encouraging collaborative, cross-disciplinary research. While these systems are often studied independently, FFAR recognizes their deep interconnections — from feed efficiency to nutrient cycling.
