About the Award
The International Excellence Award is a prestigious £5,000 tuition fee waiver awarded to selected students starting a full-time master’s degree in September 2025 or February 2026 at the University of Surrey. It recognises outstanding academic achievement.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be self-funded and classified as overseas fee-paying students (regardless of nationality or domicile)

Hold an offer to study a full-time master’s programme at the University of Surrey*

Be starting studies in September 2025 or February 2026

For two-year master’s programmes, the award is valid for the first year only

Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC)
*Excludes part-time, distance learning courses, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, and MBA.
Note: This scholarship cannot be combined with the alumni or early bird discount.

Applicants must first receive an offer from the University before applying

A valid student ID and offer letter are required for assessment

Awards are allocated on a first come, first served basis

Applications are reviewed monthly, so early application is encouraged
