🎓 Types of Scholarships

1. Admission-Based Scholarships (No separate application required!)
You’ll be automatically considered for these when you apply for admission to a U of A undergraduate program:

  • International Admission Scholarship – Up to CAN $5,000
  • Regional Excellence Scholarship – Up to CAN $5,000
  • Gold Standard Scholarship – Up to CAN $6,000 (top 5% of each faculty)

2. Application-Based Scholarships (Deadline: January 10)
Submit one scholarship application and be considered for several awards:

  • President’s International Distinction Scholarship – Up to CAN $120,000 over 4 years
  • Chan Pang Kuen Memorial International Distinction Scholarship – Up to CAN $120,000
  • International Leader Scholarship – Up to CAN $15,000
  • May Quon Undergraduate Scholarship – Up to CAN $100,000 (for Chinese/Hong Kong students with financial need)
  • Cora Martinson International Scholarship – Up to CAN $56,000 (Augustana Faculty)
  • Global Citizen Scholarship for IB Diploma Students – Up to CAN $53,000/year, renewable for 4 years (for students from Aga Khan Academies)
