Overview
The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) invites locally‑led organizations across Africa, Asia‑Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean to apply for the GLFx Chapters Program 2027. This initiative strengthens grassroots action by connecting community‑oriented organizations to a global network dedicated to inclusive and sustainable landscapes.
Selected organizations will gain access to funding, partnerships, learning opportunities, and global visibility to advance collaborative restoration and conservation efforts.
What is GLFx?
GLFx is a network of locally‑led chapters transforming landscapes through:
- Agroforestry and soil restoration
- Sustainable livelihoods
- Biodiversity recovery
- Climate resilience
- Reforestation campaigns
- Policy advocacy
Through GLFx, chapters access seed funding, expert guidance, peer‑to‑peer exchanges, tailored workshops, and global media spotlighting.
Eligibility
Applications are open to registered organizations or accredited local entities such as NGOs, CSOs, research centers, or social enterprises that:
- Represent and work with local communities in Africa, Asia‑Pacific, Latin America, or the Caribbean.
- Are led by people from the geographic area of their work.
- Focus on landscape action supporting food security, regenerative livelihoods, biodiversity, climate resilience, and sustainable land use.
- Promote collaboration and partnerships among communities and landscape actors.
- Have an administrative structure capable of receiving and managing funds.
Organizations prioritizing youth, women, Indigenous Peoples, and vulnerable communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Expectations from Chapters
- Assign a focal point to liaise with GLF.
- Participate in regular virtual engagements and thematic hubs.
- Engage year‑round with GLF opportunities, including learning programs, networking, and funding calls.
- Share lessons and practices with GLFx communities.
- Contribute to fostering local agency and global collaboration.
Application Process
- Deadline: Friday, 31 July 2026, 23:59 CEST (UTC+2).
- Step 1: Review the GLFx map to check for existing chapters in your region.
- Step 2: Prepare responses to application questions (organization profile, activities, impact, innovation, diversity, partners, and motivation).
- Step 3: Complete the online application form.
